How do you honor someone that has changed your life for the better in more ways than you can count? No, seriously, I’m really asking. Because this is exactly what my wife has done for me over the past 10 years!

You know the cliché saying, “You complete me,” that is most known from the movie Jerry McGuire? I don’t believe it can ever be true, as only God can complete us. Nonetheless, I have found someone who balances me, who has strengths where I have weakness, and who helps me to be a better person. In fact, I am a better person, leader, friend, family member, etc. when she is around.
She never believes me when I say this, but I’m going to keep saying it: I still can’t believe she said yes and continues to say yes every day. I’ll never be at the point where I understand why. I’m just incredibly grateful that she does.
So, happy 10th anniversary, Yvette! It’s been an amazing decade of marriage with you, and I am so excited to do life with you for many many many more years and decades! I love you so much!!
I apologize for the sappy post, but this is MY blog after all. I can write one of these every once in a while if I want. I promise I’ll keep it to a minimum, though. Ha!!
