This past week, I had the opportunity to serve as campus pastor for CIY Move conference in Missouri. As campus pastor, I was able to meet and pray with leaders from all over, lead an elective workshop for students feeling called into full-time ministry, and help the CIY team in various ways.

I made sure to be there early to help with registration and increase visibility. The week started off a bit on the light side, as I was getting to know everyone. But with each day, I was meeting with more and more leaders. Some of them were really struggling and needing counsel and prayer, while others were looking for someone safe to bounce an idea off of. By the last two days of the event, I was with leaders almost all day long.

When it came time for my elective on Friday, I was very encouraged to see a packed room of 75-ish students. Many of them had been wrestling with a call into ministry for some time. One student told me afterward that he was only there because his friend wanted to come, but now he’s also thinking that he might want to do ministry too. How awesome is that!?!?

I am very thankful I had the opportunity to serve in this role, and I ask that you join me in praying for God’s blessing upon all of these leaders and students!!
