School is about to start again for most students, teachers, and administrators around the country. And we want the 2023-2024 school year to be the best ever! That’s why National Network of Youth Ministries is launching a brand new initiative this month, and I’m so excited to tell you more about it.
In our mission to reach every teenager with the Gospel, school campuses and detention centers are the frontlines, where 81% of the teenage population spends three-fourths of every year. So we are starting a new campaign called Footprints & Funds. On August 15, 16, and 17, we will be gathering at schools and juvenile detention facilities across the nation to claim that ground (Joshua 1:3) in preparation for a new year of ministry.
Footprints
We invite you to partner with us to reach more students with the Gospel this school year. Join our team for a prayer walk in your city, placing your footprints on a campus, and encouraging others to do so too. Here are some ways to do that:
- Go on your own or get a group together to pray at one or more of your local middle/high schools or detention centers.
- Then post a photo/video online telling others what you did and encourage them to do so as well.
- Spread the word about this initiative. Click here to download an image you can share on your social media.
Funds
Beyond our heart for networking, initiatives like this are at the heart of who NNYM is. So we also ask that you prayerfully consider a special above-and-beyond funding gift to help us do even more to serve youth leaders and reach teenagers for the Gospel.
- If you would like to give a one-time special gift, click here.
- If you would like to talk about becoming a monthly partner, contact me.
- If you would like to help us raise funds that week by setting up your own funding page with your own goal, click here.
Please reach out if you have any questions. I’ll be sharing a lot more about this event in the near future on my social media channels and in additional newsletters (1-2 extras in August), so stay tuned!
