Earlier this year, God put me in contact with a couple children’s pastors in Breckenridge, CO, who have a huge heart for teens in their community. Unfortunately, almost all the churches in that area don’t have the ability to hire youth pastors. But since then, I’ve been having regular conversations with some of their local church leaders and a YoungLife leader about what a collaborative effort might look like.
Last weekend, Yvette and I headed down to visit one of those churches, worship with them, and meet with some of their leaders to continue seeking God’s direction. We had an amazing time, and they were so hospitable. Huge thanks to The Church at Agape Outpost! We were so encouraged when we left on Sunday afternoon!
I’m really excited for what God seems to be doing there but also for what we will learn through this potential collaboration. Then we might be able to replicate it in other mountain towns/churches. Please join us in praying around the potential that we are seeing!
