I know many of you have joined us to prayer-walk your local school campuses. We are continuing to collect data from all of our staff and network coordinators around the country, but I thought it’d be good for you to hear a few words from our executive director, Randy Davis:
“My heart is filled with a deep sense of gratitude for your support for the mission of NNYM. As I’ve reflected over the summer, prayer has stood out to me more than anything else.
Prayer is one of our guiding values at NNYM. We pray every time we’re together, we pray for youth leaders and we pray for teenagers, we pray for each other and we pray for you—our partners and supporters. “Finding joy in prayer becomes one of the most important sustaining skills of Christian leadership” (Lead with Prayer, 2024).
This focus drives the efforts for our Footprints on Campus prayer movement in August. We mobilize Christians across the country to show up in person at schools and juvenile detention facilities to cover students, teachers, and administrators in prayer.”
Reports are still coming in, but the movement has already made a significant impact with footprints of faith on over 1,600 campuses nationwide. And we know more are happening soon.
If you haven’t prayed for your local campus yet, there is still plenty of time. And when you do, please let me know, so we can add that to our overall number and celebrate all that God has done through us together!
