One of the things that’s hard to do sometimes is celebrate. Why? Because, as leaders, we often don’t want to cross that line into bragging or being arrogant. But by doing that, we can also cross another line in not celebrating enough about what God has done.
Over the last couple years, you’ve probably seen a lot of “Wrapped” posts at the end of December. From the music you listened to or the shows you watched or the books you read, everyone wants to show you a summary of your year.
What if we used this time to also celebrate what God has done in our ministries?
But what do we celebrate? Greg Stier, in Gospelize Youth Youth Ministry, shares how we need to measure biblical outcomes. So instead of just “butts in seats,” we need to measure things like how many students are being baptized, serving, going to small group, participating in mission trips, and sharing Jesus with their friends.
