On April 16, our Colorado Springs network rented out a minor league baseball stadium to host One Big Wednesday, a worship and evangelism-focused event for middle school and high school students. Of course, I had to be there, and it was amazing watching God work among all these churches and youth leaders uniting under one name!
I had the opportunity to join alongside the area youth leaders to pray for students who made decisions to follow Jesus. One of the students I got to pray with was an 8th grader named Zach. He made a choice to re-surrender to God after straying for a bit. Zach represents so many students who are hungry and desiring for God to do something amazing in them and through them.
Here is a quick report from that network’s coordinator, Dustin Fisher:
- Over 1300 students attended
- 184 leaders
- 122 volunteers
- 29 churches partnered with us
- 67 churches represented
- 34 schools represented
- 76 Salvations!
- Over 272 trained in discipleship!
