As youth workers, we need to be students of teenage culture. Thankfully, we don’t have to do all the work ourselves. Piper Jaffray & Co. recently surveyed 9,500 teenagers (average age of 15.8) for their 38th semi-annual survey. Here are the results in an infographic.

As youth workers, we need to think through all of this data and ask some questions:

  • What are some things that stand out to you?
  • What surprises you?
  • How will this information impact your ministry?
