This last Sunday, I had the opportunity to speak at another youth group in town. It was a great experience, where I was able to not only give their youth pastor a night off from teaching, but I also got to visit his youth group, meet his students and leaders, and see how he does things.

I would encourage all youth leaders to try and do this. And if your youth groups meet on the same night, maybe you could even consider combining and team-teaching or even trading places for a night. Ideas like these show your students and team that you’re in this together.

What other things have you done with the other youth leaders in your area?
