July 2026 was filled with speaking. Of the 31 days this month, 12 of them was filled with me preaching to teenagers alongside workcampNE in New Hampshire. Not only was this a great chance for me to serve alongside a ministry that I love, but I got to share about the love of Jesus with over 200 students. (In total, workcampNE saw 399 people attend this year to grow as disciples and serve others through minor home repairs.)
And God was working! Several of the students shared with me how they were learning a lot during those weeks, and they explained how they connected with Jesus in new ways. One student even wrote me a note that said, “I was really impressed by your message tonight. It really inspired me to go all in for Jesus.”
The majority of each week was spent in Matthew 13, unpacking The Cost of being a disciple through each of the parables Jesus told, which was really fun to do. I even got to use props connected to each parable, and the students said that really helped. And my final talk each week focused on Jesus’ words in Matthew 9, where He says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Through that, I was able to encourage them that God is calling them to go and share the love of Jesus with others.
Yvette was also able to share the Gospel at a student event, where two churches came together for a lock-in, and she said they really connected to the message and how Jesus has chosen them because of His love for them.
Please continue praying for these next generations. They are hungry for truth, purpose, and direction!
