Why am I here in New Hampshire? Why have I moved far away from my family? Why have I left old friends 2,000 miles away? Why do I place my trust and faith in an “unseen” God? Why do I continue to submit my life to Him and follow His calling to work in the church? Because of an article from Associated Press based on the most recent American Religious Identification Survey. Northern New England surpassed the Pacific Northwest as the least religious region, with Vermont reporting the highest share of those claiming no religion, at 34 percent. Still, the study found that the numbers of Americans with no religion rose in every state.
