As the Presidential Primaries are in full swing, I want to take a moment to encourage you to do two things: pray and vote!
workcampNE on NH Chronicle
Over the last seven years, we have taken a group of high school students to serve on summer mission trips with workcampNE. The organization was just featured on a local show, the New Hampshire Chronicle. Here is the clip, which paints a great picture of what workcampNE is all about and why we keep going … Continue reading workcampNE on NH Chronicle
Fun After Nemo 2013
A couple weeks ago, we had a pretty big winter storm/blizzard they named "Nemo." Apparently, we are supposed to get even more snow this weekend. We'll see if it actually happens. In the meantime, here is a short video I put together of our fun time in the snow after Nemo.
Surviving Our First “Hurricane”
As you know, Hurricane Irene was the recent scare that hit the east coast. In the end, this category-1 hurricane was downgraded into a powerful tropical storm. That did not stop it from tearing into part of the coast and making its way north to New England. My wife and I prepared as best as … Continue reading Surviving Our First “Hurricane”

Yesterday, I had the privilege of heading up to Gunstock Mountain with a couple of the guys from the youth group. We were blessed to have free tickets to SoulFest. After getting there, and it being the first time for any of us, we decided we would just hang out for a bit and see … Continue reading SoulFest 2010
Back from Camp
This past week, I spent some time back at my home church-camp in IL. I was asked to be the missionary speaker, helping the kids know about ministry in New England. It was a great opportunity, and I really appreciated the chance to do it. I also taught a class on worship (explaining what it is … Continue reading Back from Camp
I Have a Coffee Shop Dream
Salem does not really have a place where people (specifically teens) can hang out. Sure, there is the mall or various ice cream places, but there is no place to relax and chill with your friends. Thus lies the root of my dream. I think it would be awesome to have a coffee shop somewhere … Continue reading I Have a Coffee Shop Dream
Do you have talent?
This Saturday evening, our high school students will be putting on the first-ever "RCC's Got Talent" event. In addition to a talent show, we will have a silent auction with TONS of great items! Every dollar raised that night will go to fund future Student Ministries' mission trips. It will start off helping them go … Continue reading Do you have talent?
