Yvette and I had a great weekend celebrating our nation’s birth.  From hanging out at a friend’s pool to festivals and fireworks, we had a fun time.  On Saturday, we hung out at the pool before heading to Danvers, MA, for a festival.  It was a great time, and we ate some fried dough and french fries before watching a really good fireworks display.  On Sunday, after church, our friend Mark joined us as we headed down to Boston.  On the way, we stopped at Sonic (only 2 in New England so it was a treat). We eventually arrived in Boston, and we headed down to Harbor Fest on the Esplanade.  We finally found a spot and waited for the fireworks.  To pass time, we played “I Spy” and “20 Questions.” I forgot how hard those games are!

I’ve posted 2 videos from the Boston Fireworks below.  You can also find a lot of photos on my Facebook photo album.
