The last few years, summer has not been that relaxing. It all starts with a trip to Los Angeles for E3. This is mostly a fun trip, where I play video games and write up some blog posts for NintendoFuse.com. Then, a few weeks later is Camp Create, our church's summer arts camp. About a … Continue reading Here Begins a Busy Summer
Happy Father’s Day, Dad!
Dear Dad, I probably haven't said this enough through the years, but I love you, and I thank you so much for sticking it out!! I know it wasn't always the easiest thing to be our dad, but you did it anyway. You worked the long hours to provide for us. You made it to … Continue reading Happy Father’s Day, Dad!

Fun After Nemo 2013
A couple weeks ago, we had a pretty big winter storm/blizzard they named "Nemo." Apparently, we are supposed to get even more snow this weekend. We'll see if it actually happens. In the meantime, here is a short video I put together of our fun time in the snow after Nemo.
What is Orange?
Today, I realized that I have been writing about the "Orange philosophy" for about two years, but I don't remember if I have ever taken the time to explain it. While some may look at that … Continue reading Ministry Update – January 27, 2013

Today, I am starting a new series of posts on here entitled, "Things You Don’t Learn in Bible College," where I will discuss the vast number of things I did not learn in my Bible College career. Some of these things are ministry-related, and others are not. Most of them, however, will be things I have … Continue reading Things You Don’t Learn in Bible College: Carrying Drywall
A Stats Review of My Blog in 2012

If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 7 years to get … Continue reading A Stats Review of My Blog in 2012
People Come and People Go
Every year at Christmas, it seems that people struggle with emotional issues. My wife tells me that immediately following Christmas is even the highest rated time for suicides. Why is it that when things should be going well, as we gather with friends and family to celebrate, we often get hit with bad news? Sure, … Continue reading People Come and People Go
